GREEN BAY — Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who hurt his right thumb throwing a Hail Mary pass on the last play of the veryfirst half Sunday versus the New York Giants, returned to practice Thursday.

He tossed with his thumb covered up throughout the specific drills open to the media. The rest of practice is closed so it won’t be understood whether he took part in the 11-on-11s unless he is reported as a “full individual” on the Packers’ injury report.

Coach Matt LaFleur stated in his Thursday news conference priorto practice that Rodgers was offered for a walk-through, however the Packers wouldn’t figureout whether he would practice till he got out on the field.

Rodgers sat out practice Wednesday.

Both LaFleur and Rodgers stated Wednesday that they weren’t worried about Rodgers’ schedule Sunday versus the New York Jets.
