Hall of Fame NBAer Rick Barry extremely almost ended up signingupwith the Boston Celtics late in his playing profession according to the guy himself in a current interview with Sports Illustrated’s Eric Jay Santos.
“I reached out to them since I wasn’t pleased with what was occurring in Houston,” Barry stated of the agreement disagreement that ultimately led to his retirement.

But the Celtics chosen to cut back their lineup by one gamer, which Barry blames for ruining the possibility.
“I was going to play with the Celtics, however they cut the lineups back from 12 to 11 gamers,” he discussed. “I was truly looking forward to it.”
“I mostlikely might’ve played (for) 2 (or) 3 more years,” continued Barry. “It would’ve been terrific to go play with the Celtics like so numerous other gamers did.”
