The Atlanta Falcons definitely shocked the football world on Thursday night by preparing quarterback Michael Penix Jr. out of Washington in this year’s NFL Draft.
Apparently, brand-new Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins was as stunned as anyperson when the group made the bewildering choice.
Multiple reports recommended that Cousins either had no concept what was coming with the Penix choice or just got advanced notification right before the choice was made.
NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah stated he reached out to Cousins’ representative Mike McCartney about the move, who stated Cousins was “not provided truly a heads up on this entire thing.”
