Mariah Carey is getting prepared to group up with possibly the just other pop culture icon more highly associated with Christmas than she is.
The vocalist, 52, revealed on Instagram Friday she will carryout at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, where she will be opening for Santa Claus.
“My youth dream is coming to life! I’m going to be opening for the one and just, SANTA CLAUS, at this year’s @macys Thanksgiving day parade!” she composed. “Tune in on Thanksgiving Day @NBC!”
The parade airs on NBC and streaming on Peacock from 9 a.m. to twelvenoon in all time zones.
Carey’s statement comes 4 days after the United States Trademark Trial and Appeal Board ruled versus her tries to hallmark the expressions “Queen of Christmas,” “Princess Christmas” and “QOC.” Elizabeth Chan, a full-time Christmas and vacation music recording artist, engaged in a months-long legal fight to block her hallmark efforts.

Carey’s fans have colloquially referred to her as the queen of Christmas due to the yearly revival in appeal of her 1994 vacation hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
