MLB umpire C.B. Bucknor isn’t a completestranger to making bad calls behind the plate. Just a coupleof days ago, Orioles broadcaster Jim Palmer ripped him for a bad call. But the timing of his mostcurrent missouton call left fans specifically miffed Saturday.

The St. Louis Cardinals were tracking the Chicago White Sox 6-5 in the bottom of the 10th inning, with 2 outs and the bases juiced when the videogame went into a three-hour rain hold-up.

Everyone invested in the videogame had to wait all that time to see how those tense last minutes would play out. But when the videogame lastly resumed, with Ivan Herrera at the plate dealingwith an 0-1 count, Bucknor ended it a simple minute lateron on an horrible called strike 3.

Here’s how the Cardinals broadcast responded to the call:

Here was the Cardinals TELEVISION call on Bally Sports Midwest.

“You’ve got to be joking me. After all of that, [C.B Bucknor] is going to call a pitch off the plate….”

“Not even close.”

That is such a nasty method to end a videogame after all that time.

MLB fans were disgusted, though not totally amazed.

CB Bucknor is a extremely #ungood umpire. Missed the last call of the videogame (left) and likewise in the 9th inning (right)

The pitch was not even close. Bucknor is a joke and he humiliates MLB on a nighttime basis.
