The Detroit Tigers won’t host their official home opener for another week. But when fans arrive to Comerica Park on April 5, they’ll see a videoboard that is perhaps MLB’s first scoreboard to be *toobig.

The Tigers unveiled the 15,688 square-foot, T-shaped scoreboard to reporters on Wednesday. And while the videoboard will rank second behind Citi Field’s behemoth of a screen, the location behind the left-field stands makes the Comerica Park videoboard especially imposing.
