The Philadelphia 76ers knocked off the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night 120-111 regardlessof another dominant efficiency by Zion Williamson for New Orleans. The increasing star out of Duke put on a program as he had 26 points on 10-for-12 shooting to go along with 7 helps and 6 rebounds priorto leaving at the end of the 3rd with a hamstring concern.
The loss of Williamson hurt the Pelicans in the 4th quarter and the Sixers were able to pull away. Joel Embiid had 42 points and 11 rebounds with 5 helps while James Harden had 27 points and 8 helps to lead the method in their 2nd straight win.
Tyrese Maxey had 12 points off the bench as he continues to work his method back from a left foot fracture and De’Anthony Melton had 11 points while drilling a huge shot late to seal it.
