More than 30 people, consistingof kids, were hospitalized Tuesday after a malfunctioning heating system triggered a carbon monoxide leakage at a Pennsylvania day care center, authorities stated.

The leakage occurred at Happy Smiles Learning Center in Allentown, about 60 miles north of Philadelphia.

St. Luke’s University Health Network, which has 2 healthcenters in Allentown, confessed 13 clients – 10 children and 3 grownups – representative Sam Kennedy informed USA TODAY. All were steady, Kennedy stated.
