When you’ve enjoyed the biggest quarterback of all-time play for 2 years, there’s constantly going to be a drop-off. After all, no quarterback was going to match Tom Brady’s profession in New England. But at the exactsame time, Patriots fans anticipate to at least have a qualified starter at quarterback in the post-Brady period.

So with that in mind, Mac Jones hasn’t been that at all for the Patriots.

One week after getting benched for fan-favorite Bailey Zappe in Monday Night Football, Jones was back as the starter versus the Jets, and it was more of the verysame for Jones.

The previous first-round choice put together an underwhelming veryfirst half where he tossed a select, missedouton Hunter Henry on a potential veryfirst down and had a TERRIBLE pick-six negated by a roughing the passer charge (that didn’t effect the pass).
