It appears PFL is interested in possibly finalizing Muhammad Mokaev after all.
The UFC chose not to re-sign Mokaev after he combated out his agreement with a choice win over Manel Kape at UFC 304 in July. Mokaev was branded as hard to work with, triggering PFL president Ray Sefo to state he’s unenthusiastic in finalizing Mokaev, who he heard is a “pain in the ass to offer with.”
However, PFL CEO Pete Murray believes otherwise. PFL doesn’t presently have a flyweight department, however Murray still sees Mokaev as worthwhile skill to indication.
