A previous Philadelphia constable’s deputy was detained and charged with unlawfully selling guns utilized in a deadly school shooting, federal authorities revealed Thursday.

Samir Ahmad, 29 was jailed Oct. 19 and charged with guns trafficking and selling guns to a individual unlawfully in the United States, according to a press release from the Department of Justice.

Ahmad offered the weapons utilized in that shooting to an FBI informant on Oct. 13, federal court files declare.

“The truth that the offender had gainaccessto to these weapons so rapidly after they were utilized to dedicate such a dreadful criminaloffense speaks volumes about the risk that this accused positions to the neighborhood,” court files state.

“The concept of a sworn public servant so blatantly weakening public security is wicked,” Jacqueline Maguire, unique representative in charge of the FBI’s Philadelphia Division, stated in the DOJ release.

During the weapon sale, the FBI informant informed Ahmad he was unlawfully living in the U.S. and might be deported if he was captured with the weapon.

“You puton’t got to concern about none of that,” Ahmad reacted. He made $3,000 from that sale. 

Five days lateron, Ahmad offered another handgun and over 2 ounces of meth to the informant. He was fired and detained the next day.
