Going from a 90-man lineup throughout the spring down to a 53-man lineup is not a surprise for Lovie Smith.
The Houston Texans coach is in his 12th season in the NFL as the male on the sidelines. Part of what assists him make his choices is to clarify the objectives for the gamers.
“What I’ve discovered is that we kind of understand the guidelines early on and numbers we have to get down to,” Smith informed pressreporters Monday. “You let the gamers understand early. ‘Guys, ultimately we have to get to this. Everything you do from now on, we’re looking at.’”
