Goooood earlymorning, Winners. Welcome back to the Morning Win. Thanks so much for rocking with me today.

That Sunday Night Football videogame was a sheer displayscreen of supremacy from the Eagles. That’s what we oughtto be talking about today.

The Eagles held the NFL’s No. 1 offense to simply 17 points, one offensive goal and 245 overall lawns. That’s unheard of — particularly when you’re down a beginning security and a nickel corner. But that’s not the discussion anybody appears to desire to have today.

Instead, everybody is talking about the legality of the Tush Push. Again.

Look, I get it. It’s bothersome that no one can stop this play. Philadelphia quite much iced the videogame with a fourth-quarter drive that took 6 minutes and 35 seconds off the clock. Philadelphia had 2 fourth-and-one plays on the drive that ended up as veryfirst downs thanks to the Brotherly Shove (I like that name muchbetter, btw). Overall in the videogame, they ran the play 4 times and transformed for 3 initially downs and a goal.

As quickly as the drive was over all the whining and groaning started. You understand how it goes. People grumble that it’s not really a football play even however it’s mostlikely the alotof football play. They likewise grumble about the play triggering injuries like the NFL didn’t simply institute an 18-game routine season a coupleof years earlier. But injuries are oh so worrying now.

Just since a group has success with a play doesn’t mean that play must be prohibited. It’s not unstoppable — QB slips just have a 13.4 percent success rate so far this year, per Kalyn Kahler of The Athletic. That’s a reasonably high mark, however it undoubtedly doesn’t point to anything being unstoppable. The Eagles are simply truly great at this. It’s not their fault other groups aren’t.

Instead of all the grievances and the tired argument about the play, groups needto simply figure out how to get a stop. That’s how sports work, best?

I understand it’s unheard of for a non-quarterback to win an MVP these days. Especially when the non-quarterback in concern may not infact play offense at all.

But, petdog. Have y’all seen Myles Garrett play football? The guy is unbelievable.

Here’s more from our Robert Zeglinski in his weekly NFL Awards column from Week 7:

“With the Browns’ elite defense carrying Cleveland to a 4-2 record, we are experiencing Garrett lastly jumping to a real nationwide platform. He’s long been one of the NFL’s more elite protectors consideringthat gettingin the league in 2017, however the Browns have primarily … stunk. Now that they looklike a playoff-adjacent group buoyed by its defense, it will be tough to argue versus the four-time Pro Bowler making his veryfirst profession Defensive Player of the
