Politicians, sports stars and stars jam-packed into Arthur Ashe Stadium at the 2022 U.S. Open on Wednesday night to witness what might haveactually been the last tennis match of Serena Williams’ famous profession.

Instead, viewers were in for a screen of sheer sparkle from Williams, who upset No. 2 seed Anett Kontaveit of Estonia 7-6, 2-6, 6-2 in a 2nd round three-set thriller.

“I’m caring this crowd. It’s actually wonderful,” Williams stated. “There’s still a little left in me.”

Wednesday’s crowd consistedof Tiger Woods, who sat alongwith Williams’ household in her  gamer’s box and even provided his signature fist pump in event throughout her win. 

“He’s one of the factors I’m here,” Williams stated. “One of the primary factors I’m still playing.”

“It was a opportunity to watch achievement,” Woods tweeted afterwards. “Congrats.”
