Well, this is about to get a little unusual. In requirement of an experienced offending organizer, Ohio State is apparently set to hire previous Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien to call the offense under head coach Ryan Day. The news came from Pete Thamel, bymeansof X (formerly recognized as Twitter) of ESPN on Thursday night.
O’Brien will signupwith the Ohio State training personnel after costs the 2023 season as the offensive organizer and quarterbacks coach for the New England Patriots, a function he held previous to his being workedwith by Penn State in 2012.
O’Brien endedupbeing offered as the Patriots ushered in a brand-new period with Bill Belichick no longer being the head coach. O’Brien hadactually been the offensive organizer for Alabama for the 2021 and 2022 seasons after a seven-year run as the head coach of the Houston Texans, the task he accepted after his 2nd season at Penn State.
