Tamara Jewett endedup 2nd for the 3rd year in a row at IRONMAN 70.3 Indian Wells on Sunday and lateron exposed she’s been dealing with an achilles problem for much of the season.

“I had enjoyable racing and am general delighted with my day, however my mind and body requirement a huge huge break at last 🎉🎉🎉.

‘Ready to restore’

“The mostsignificant, peaceful success of this season hasactually been handling up and down achilles flare ups all the method through without considerable effects on run training or racing.

“After sensation in April/May like I had it well under control, the veryfirst couple laps of my run at PTO Milwaukee HURT, and the week leading into 70.3 Worlds felt agonizingly touch and go after it reacted severely to travel.”

Those 2 races saw her surface 10th and 11th respectively, with 6th at a stacked PTO European Open in May the just other time she was outside the leading 2.

She included: “SO, I am THRILLED that after a fall race season, my body feels muchhealthier and morepowerful than it did in August, and prepared to reconstruct after a prepared break 😊.
